With the holidays upon us, I wanted to talk about the habits around your goals. It can be really easy to slip out of habits that drive you forward around the holidays and fall into complacency. I want to encourage you to think differently this year and make this a season of separation. I want to give you some tips on how to keep your momentum rolling despite all of the holiday distractions so you can continue on your path of self-improvement.

Grow vs Coast
Make sure to set end of year goals so you feel motivated to hit them, no matter what’s going on throughout the holidays. They don’t have to be huge, they can be small, mindful goals that will help you make smart decisions that will level you up one step at a time. Simply coasting through the season won’t help you improve and may even lead to a downward spiral. Make sure you’re moving onward and upward to hit your target by the end of the year.
Plan it Out
Write it down, set reminders, and do whatever you need to do to make sure you get your workouts in. Having a plan will keep you on track and on schedule. Keep it simple and focused. Same goes for your meals. Planning meals out can make things less complicated and help you stick to the foods that nourish you. Consider social events as well. Plan those out so you’re not constantly tempted to throw healthy habits out the window.
Consider Your Business
The holidays are some of the busiest and most important times for businesses to stay focused. Set time aside to work on your business goals as well as your wellness goals. Take advantage of the season and the sales that come with it. Prepare for the dip after the holidays. Figure out your launches and what you want to offer your audience. Make sure that you are fully invested and engaged during your working hours. It’s up to you to show up in an intentional way and build trust in yourself by doing so.
Light Your Spark
Enjoy what the holiday brings and take it in. Use the good stuff as fuel to light your spark for the new year coming up. Take time to reflect and pull lessons out of the year that you had to make changes for the future. Be mindful and intentional with who you want to become. Let your creative side guide you to start making positive changes.
