What Happened to Commitment? with Molly Asplin 

On today’s episode, you might hear a little fire behind my words. This is because it means a lot to me to say that we need to stay committed. There are people that let the world drag them down and give up on things simply because of some challenges along the way. I’m here to tell you not to give up. Keep working on the things that make you happy, healthy, and bring out the best version of yourself, no matter what the road may look like.

Don’t Quit on Yourself                  

It’s okay to demand more of yourself. Stick to the things that help level you up and make you a better version of yourself. Life gets busy, and you may fall off from time to time, and that’s okay. The key is to find your footing and keep going. Yes, it’s hard, but it’s worth it.

Have Discipline and Plan Ahead                 

You have to be able to discipline your mind and your feelings. Things are going to come up, but don’t let it throw you off your game. There are always going to be challenges, but it’s important to stay committed to the things that are good for you. Have task clarity and consistency. Figure out your needle moving activities. Be clear on what you need to do and when.         

The Right Space and a Little Grace                 

Be around the right people. Put yourself in an active environment versus a passive environment. Being in the right space surrounded by people who have passion and drive will fuel you. Give yourself grace AND keep going. It can feel like a lot, but when you keep moving forward, you learn and grow.   

Every Day is an Opportunity                        

Every day is an opportunity to do it better. You’re not going to get everything right the first time you try something. Life is going to throw unexpected things your way. Take those moments as learning opportunities. Ask for help when you need it. Stay committed and keep going.
