On today’s episode, I have Inbal Claudio, creator of ‘Like Minded Collective’, a social media platform for dreamers, creators, and female founders. Her mission is to make sure every single female founder, no matter what stage of business they’re in, knows how incredible they are and has the support they need! We have a great discussion about community, collaboration, and the importance of connection in business.

Connections in Business
Inbal came up with the idea for a positive space for women to connect, share, and talk about their business after feeling like there was an oversaturation of sales pitches and not a lot of true places to ask honest questions. She wanted friends who understood what it was like to be an entrepreneur and a place where people could connect on more of a personal level about business. A lot of the guidance people provide to one another is how to connect with niche audiences and build relationships.
Creating a Community
Having a space for people to come together, share about their business, and bounce ideas off of one another without restriction is important to growth and success. When starting her business, Inbal took the time to find the right people to bring on board that shared her vision and were willing to think outside of the box for a bigger picture. Self doubt is natural when putting yourself out there, but having a strong community makes it easier to navigate the ups and downs.
Encourage Involvement
For those building online communities, create an environment where people are asking about each other, both personally and professionally. Connect with people and create engagement so they feel like it is a space they want to stay in. It’s your job to make people feel welcome and wanted. Offer workshops and other events where people can get involved. There are enough places out there where people are being talked to, let people be the ones to open up and speak themselves.
A Healthy Balance
For moms who are navigating business and family, focus where you are in your current season of life. Ask for help and delegate tasks. Make sure to communicate your needs. When you are focusing on your business, don’t let guilt take over, know that it’s best for you and your family. When you’re at home, put business needs to the side. Create healthy boundaries. Whatever you do, show up.
