Break Free
Amy talks about her life, hobbies, and business which ultimately led to so much stress and inflammation in her body that she lost hearing in one of her ears. She knew she needed to make adjustments in her life for better health and wellbeing. She decided to share the life changing shifts she made in the form of her book “The Path To Break Free From Burnout”.
Burnout
Humans are going to go through cycles of burnout, which usually means some small changes need to happen in order to reset. Burnout syndrome is something bigger, this is when physical, mental, and emotional wear starts to break the body down. It’s important to recognize this and understand that things have to change to protect health and wellbeing.
Solutions
The very first step to managing burnout syndrome is to identify the stress triggers. Once you list them out, start to make boundaries to prioritize your mental wellbeing. Having healthy boundaries lets you focus on self care. Take one small step at a time to get out of burnout and into a healthier routine.
Goals
Communicate about the boundaries you put in place and use them in all areas of your life. Give yourself time and space during the day for things that matter to you. Set goals that will set you up for personal success in the future, especially goals that will help fill your cup and leave you with good energy.
Path
Don’t stay on a path if it doesn’t align with your core values. Make sure the things in your life match your personal growth and development. It’s okay to make changes if that’s what you feel you need to do, even if what you’re currently doing is considered “good”. Don’t be afraid to pivot to live fully to your authentic self.
