On today’s solo episode, I want to help you squash the overwhelm and anxiety that comes with starting something new. It’s normal to feel nervous about the unknown, but there are some things that can help you ease in and push forward in your endeavors. You have it in you and you CAN do it!

Talking Points:

02:13 Beginner Status

08:04 Time Management

13:36 Moving Forward

18:46 Weekly Goals

24:10 Practice

Beginner Status

Let yourself be a beginner and tell yourself that it’s okay to not be perfect at something right off the bat. It’s going to be messy and have its hurdles that you have to work through along the way. Overwhelm is a choice. Know that you’re doing everything you can so long as you are learning and moving forward. Action over anxiety.

Time Management

Take a look at what your goals are to figure out what actions need to happen and how you need to arrange your schedule to reach them. Communicate with your family and the people around you to make sure everyone is in line with one another. Work with the time in your day to prioritize what needs to get done to see results.

Moving Forward

Check yourself and ask if you are doing the income producing activities. Are you working on things that are driving you forward? It’s okay to do research, but at some point you have to be working toward your goals. Don’t over consume information, instead, work toward what you’re hoping to achieve.

Weekly Goals

Set weekly sales goals and reverse engineer to get there. It doesn’t matter how big or small your goal is, but the important thing is to stick to that goal and work toward it. Reach out, get connected, and figure out strategies that work for you.

Practice

More practice equals more success. You’ll start to feel better the more you do something. Consistency is important, but so is rest, so find a good balance for yourself. Keep going, don’t give up, but also give yourself grace. You’ll be able to reach your goals by doing these things.
