On today’s solo episode, I dive into asking for help when it comes to your business and what the process should look like for busy entrepreneurs starting out. It’s important to carefully navigate through your options to decide what will be the best investment for helping your business grow and thrive. Here are some companies that I’ve hired that have helped me along the way: Josh Coats: PUSH Coach, Monique Scrip: Leadership Coach & Business Mento, Wren Robbins: Podcast Strategist, Chic Influencer Branding Experience.

Weigh Your ROI’s
Bootstrap everything in the beginning, understand processes to know if you should be hiring it out or not. Look at things by the ROI, even if you’re not making much from your current project, it might be worth hiring out if your ROI will increase by doing so. Freeing up time spent on busy work can mean more time investing in other high value parts of your business.
Focus on Income Producing Activities
Get resourceful when finding the kind of help you’re looking for. Find someone that can focus on the little things so you can work on income producing activities. Think about the three D’s: Do, delegate, and delete. Can you do it yourself? Do I need to delegate certain tasks? Do you even need to be doing it or can it be deleted from your process?
Be Open to Development
Keep developing and learning any chance you get. When you’re starting out, find a way to push yourself forward and make sure it’s a good investment toward your future. Implement the things that you learn. Find people who can help you behind the scenes. Hire coaches to help you along the way once your business is up and running.
Make Smart Investments
Delegate at home as well as in your business. Find ways that can help take the pressure off of things that may be getting in the way of running your business as well as time with your family. Play around with things and find what is worth it to you. Work with the people in your life to help each other out and tackle things together. Just make sure not to over hire or over train, be a smart business owner and ask yourself if it’s a smart investment.
