I Didn’t Want To Save Slow Mornings For Retirement

I realized I wanted slow mornings… to drink my coffee (hot!) without pouring it into a to-go cup and rushing out the door. I wanted to have slow mornings and I wanted to live them now, not just when I was 65 and gray haired! (oops I already have some gray hair, LOL! but that’s besides the fact)

We can’t fool ourselves into thinking that what we’re doing now is creating the future that we really want if we aren’t “baking in” the values that are really important to us NOW!  When I was living my 9-5 corporate job, I neglected many of these values. Somedays I still do!

We need to align now with the future we really want. You don’t have to save your dreams for later! You have to bake them into your life now.

This episode was inspired by a new book I’m reading called Anti Time Management by Richie Norton.  It is validating and getting me into a new way of thinking all at once.  Pre order it here (it releases in August)!
